I'm looking for a product name. The product provides the following:
- Displays on a (large) screen an overview of the company's most important apps and websites;
- Specifies per item the current status and possible outages;
- Alarms sysadmins when an outage occurs;
- The product will try to specify a possible source of the outage;
This solution can be categorized as 'monitoring' or 'network operations center'. The benefits of this product are:
- Discover outages quicker;
- Discover an outage before your customers call your support desk;
The following characteristics apply:
- Target audience is: middle/large companies and governmental bodies;
- Both .com and .nl names must be available;

Watsmon - fonitisch Watch Mon - heb ik afgeleid van het karakter Watson uit de verhalen van Sherlock Hotlmes. Het is een herkenbare naam, kort, krachtig en beschikbaar in .nl en .com. Het omschrijft ook wat er gebeurd; watch mon; bekijk de monitor.
Verder was Watson ook meer de verteller en nooit de oplosser zelf dus in dit geval sluit het ook aan op wat het systeem doet. Het observeert en omschrijft het probleem zodat de persoon die het op moet lossen daarmee verder kan.
De naam watchmon heb ik niet ingediend vanwege het feit dat de .com domeinnaam hiervan niet beschikbaar is.
