Needs:
We need a logo for our new to open a modern Thai Restaurant. The company name is Menam and we want to add the text Thai Kitchen underneath our logo.
Menam is the name originally given to the Chao Praya river on early European maps. Menam actually means river in Thai.
We are planing on having Menam written in Neon ligthing inside the restaurant, so to match the logo the letters need to 'flow'.
We will be using our logo on all our future communications and may be used also on staf clothing and perhaps glassware. It needs to apply to a wide audience and should look unique and fresh.

Target group:
Colors, favourites and other requirements
The base colours to be used are white and blue in reference to the water/river. Underneath the logo we need the text Thai Kitchen.

Beste Roel,
Bedankt voor je feedback. Ondanks je opmerking over de lotus en olifant heb ik de lotus wel behouden. Lotus nu iets anders, ander lettertype en golven. Groene kleur gelaten voor wat het is. Spreekt het je zo meer aan?

Een goedenavond,
Bij deze mijn bijdrage voor een logo. Met het font heb ik rekening gehouden dat dit makkelijk te vertalen is naar neon letters. Hiervoor kan natuurlijk ook bv een script font gebruikt worden, zolang de lijndiktes maar een beetje gelijk zijn dan gaat dit niet ten koste van de totale uitstraling waarop ook toegepast. Misschien spreekt het ontwerp aan. Elke vorm van feedback is welkom.

Alhoewel de lotus bloem, net als de olifant, helemaal bij Thailand past willen we deze niet in het logo hebben. Ik denk dat de naam in combinatie met Thai Kitchen duidelijk genoeg is. Misschien is er wel een referentie naar water/rivier mogelijk, alhoewel we weer geen visrestaurant zijn...
Qua kleuren is het blauw mooi, maar past het groen niet bij wat we zoeken.
