Develop a strong logo and beautiful corporate identity for the DUTCH TRIATHLON SERIES in short DTS. In the long term, DTS must be recognizable enough to the target group to refer to the Dutch Triathlon Series, but it must be possible to communicate with both.
The DTS now includes four triathlon races; The Bosbaan Triathlon (Amstelveen), The HLMRMEER Triathlon (Haarlemmermeer), The Ouderkerkerplas Triathlon (Ouderkerk ad Amstel) and the Grand Prix Triathlon Zandvoort (Zandvoort). I would like to see this reflected in the house-style and leave it up to you how you name them (whole name or only place). It may be that more locations will be added at a later stage, so there must be “space” for this and can therefore easily be adapted to the house style.
Triathlon is first swimming, then cycling and then running. We focus on the Sprint distance (Sprint: 750m-20km-5km) and the Olympic Distance (OD: 1500m-40km-10km).
I am a fan of strong subtitles and want to use these; It's not about how you do it but why you do it. But also: triathletes never quit! Or maybe even both in a row.
The logo and corporate identity are not only reflected on our websites and social media, but also on our events. So the choice of color is very important. It should radiate both power and fun because it is literally the decoration of the event! We use hundreds of fence banners so consider that in your design. We also have many flagpoles with banner flags at our events. Also consider how the brand is clearly visible on something so narrow and elongated but very visible as a flag in banner form. Do not forget the thousands of swimcaps that we use every year, so that the logo must be clearly visible!
Company description:
Amsterdam Sport Events BV is specialized in organizing triathlons and other sports events, including Spartan Race and Swim to Fight Cancer.
Target group:
Our target group is very broad. From 14 to 74 years old. We have first timers, but the top of NL is also at the start with us. (Large) companies also participate with colleagues in business teams.
Colors, favourites and other requirements
Personal victory, tough, character, finish, competition, winners! Triathletes never quit. With DUTCH in the name, it seems logical to think in the direction of our tricolor and/or orange. Those colors give a cheerful appearance in the decoration of events, so I am very curious what that will look like. But I am also a fan of the color gold. I often order the swim caps in gold. Still a color of winners. So a touch of gold is appreciated. Ultimately, I am always open to totally new ideas and insights (hence this competition) so be creative and do what you do best! Good luck!

Beatrice, jij was volgens mij de eerste met dit design. Is het nou zo dat iedereen jouw design aan het kopiëren is of er een eigen draai aan probeert te geven omdat ze kunnen zien dat ik je vier sterren gegeven heb? Daar ben ik wel even benieuwd naar. Tis nl wel erg opvallend hoeveel "look-a-likes" er verschijnen.

Ja dat is mij ook opgevallen. Omdat je wedstrijd open is kunnen ze zien wat je "mooi" vindt. En dan is kopiëren natuurlijk makkelijk, en is zelf creatief zijn moeilijker. Je kan eventueel een reactie plaatsen bij je wedstrijd. Maar je begrijpt dat dit niet echt tof is.

je moet nog wel even aan de zwemmer sleutelen want nu lijkt het alsof ie verzuipt en zijn arm omhoog steekt. check even een actief borstcrawlslag van een zwemmer. Dan heeft ie 1 arm naar voren instekend en 1 arm krom naar achter. De fietser heeft een goed houding maar mag iets duidelijker zijn armen op het ligstuur hebben zoals je bij die kerel in de foto kunt zien. Dus alleen iets armen er bij tekenen does the trick

Cool! beste tot nu toe! Achtergrond plaat is ook cool. Zelf gedaan of bestaande plaat? Het witte logo moet daar dan wel onder de kin van de zwemmer uitgelijnd worden en wellicht nog wat spelen met verschillende kleuren in dat logo.
