We are going to open a trendy modern Kitchen & Bar in the heart of Amsterdam , the name we chose is Splinters ( because the interior of the cafe has a lot of rough wood )

It needs to be clear that it is a bar and also has good food so people feel welcome to come in and just drink but also be clear that we serve good food.
We sell Steaks / Ribs / Burgers / Pizza / Pasta et cetera
The location we are on is extremely international with tourists from many different countries so we need it to be visually clear that it is a Bar / Restaurant
One of our colleagues had the idea of having the logo burned/branded into a rough piece of wood for on the building, we are not attached to this idea but it sounds cool
So the style needs to be a bit rough and woody modern steakhouse kind of idea
I have attached a menu someone designed for us this week , we think something like this could be nice but we are not attached to this yet.

Geachte Heer / Mevrouw,
Mij sprak deze opdracht erg aan omdat ik het concept van het openen van deze 'kitchen & bar' erg tof vind!
Aangezien het in de binnenstad van Amsterdam is, moet het een opvallend logo zijn wat veel mensen aantrekt.
Mijn idee achter het logo:
In de 'behoefte' werd verteld dat het van binnen, vooral van hout is.
Hout wordt meestal meteen gekoppeld aan oud, maar ook zeker aan gezelligheid.
Het logo moet natuurlijk een hele tijd mee kunnen gaan, ook na een eventuele verbouwing. Vandaar dat ik heb gekozen voor een strak, speels maar toch modern tijdloos logo.
Het moderne logo past goed bij oud (hout).
Verder stelt de 'stip' op de letter T een bord of iets dergelijks uit wat erop wijst dat er iets overheerlijks uitgeserveerd wordt.
Ik hoor graag een reactie tegemoet!
