Develop a sleek & modern logo for a new tripod brand.
We are looking for a logo for the new tripod brand Nevy. Nevy is a tripod brand for photo cameras.
The Nevy tripods are completely designed, produced & assembled in the Netherlands. And that is unique! Nevy has to play in the top segment of camera tripods. Some existing brands are Gitzo, Sachtler, Really Right Stuff and Manfrotto. Nevy stands for quality and only the best materials are used for this. The tripods are made of carbon and are otherwise mainly black.
The logo must therefore also radiate luxury, class, modernity and exclusivity. Despite the fact that it is a tripod brand, there is no need for a tripod/tripod in the logo. The logo will be used on the tripods, bags, website, social media expressions, etc.
The logo must consist of a full name: Nevy (or NEVY) and may also have a separate logo consisting of a letter or a symbol. This may also be combined into one, so a symbol with the name incorporated.
People who buy a tripod from this brand don't just buy a tripod, they buy a Nevy. That means they have a good quality tripod and we mean real quality. This tripod will last a lifetime!
In short:
- The name Nevy in a nice appearance (can also be used as NEVY)
- Ccompact logo (may only be a letter, a character, or the complete name incorporated)
- Colors: black / white / silver or gray (possibly with a different color, certainly not an advantage)
- Everything must radiate luxury and quality (and be cool in a way)
- Modern, unique and sleek design
The full brand has yet to be launched on the market. This is the idea as we see it, but other tips or inspirations are certainly welcome!

Beste Jossinda,
Bijgaand mijn update voor het merk nevy. Aangezien het een Nederlands merk is heb ik er voor gekozen om geen gekke dingen te doen met de gekozen letter. Doe maar normaal dan doe je gek genoeg, dat principe en die uitstraling.
Heel erg benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden.

Beste Ted,
Bedankt voor het insturen van je logo. Je logo viel bij ons in de smaak en zit bij de laatste 4. We twijfelen nog of we gaan voor een logo met de naam Nevy in een mooie lettertype (zoals jouw logo) of dat we enkel gaan voor een logo als naam. We gaan onze keuze baseren aan de hand van hoe het logo en de naam staat op een zwart statief en een tripod bag. Mijn vraag is of je hier eventueel een voorbeeld van kunt insturen?
Daarnaast hadden we voor jouw logo nog een extra vraag. Zou je de naam nevy ook in een wat stoerdere versie kunnen verwerken (met over zonder punt)? Nu oogt het wat netjes, wat we ook mooi vinden, maar we willen graag de juiste keuze maken.
