We are looking for a logo to be used for many advertisment purposes, like flyers, folders, banners (physical and virtual), stickers, goodies and our website (wordpress).
We would like the logo to express the following:
friendly, fun, proffesional, international, flexible, modern, accesable, ethical, for the community.
Company description:
LG Guitar & Music School is a growing guitar and music school located in Amstelveen. The business exists for about two years. The name will change later to LG Guitar & Music School so we would like the logo to match that name. LG Guitar & School now teaches guiar and piano but in the future possibly more instruments like drums, singing ec
Target group:
Community of Amstelveen and surroundings, all ages: children 6+ years and adults
Colors, favourites and other requirements
We said earlier in the contest that we would like to see the colour red somewhere in the logo. But feel free to use other colours if you think they fit better.
We would like a simple logo that is future proof.
We are not necisarily looking for a logo with a guitar. We'd like to avoid the general guitar logo concepts, even though that probably makes it very hard.... Do feel free to send in any logo's you think are good. We probably would be happy with abstract logos as well.
We would also like to invite you to make an beautiful and usable graphic representation of just the words LG Guitar and Music School. It will be less of a "logo" then, but still very usable for advertisement purposes.

Hallo lgguitarschool,
Hierbij ontvangt u mijn negende inzending in de hoop iets dichter bij uw wens te komen.
Veel doelgerichte feedback heb ik van u nog niet mogen ontvangen.
Dat is niet erg hoor.
De snaren heb ik nu iets duidelijker gemaakt.
Misschien vindt u dit logo te organisch en houdt u meer van een simpele vorm?
Persoonlijk vind ik de klanken van een gitaar en piano niet simpel en strak maar juist harmonieus en natuurlijk.
Nou, ik ben benieuwd of u kunt aangeven of ik met mijn inzendingen in de buurt kom van uw wens of totaal de plank missla.

Dank! We vonden dit al een mooi logo, en is idd nu nog beter :-). We hebben geen feedback gegeven omdat we niet goed weten hoe we dit logo nog zouden kunnen verbeteren.

Misschien kunnen we nog wat met de letters of lettertype? Stijlvoller Eleganter? We hebben geen idee wat mogelijk is.

Een gitaar, piano en sommige trommels hebben snaren. Zichtbaar in dit logo zijn dus snaren en/of een notenbalk.
Bij dit logo heb ik de naam in een dunner lettertype gezet.

Okay, ik snap dat u eigenlijk de gebruikelijke gitaarlogo concepten wilt ontwijken maar zoals u zelf al beschrijft wordt het dan heel moeilijk nog een link te leggen naar piano, drums en zang.
Het blijft zo een beetje een gitaar school.
Klopt, een abstract logo zonder link naar een instrument is dan wellicht overbodig...
Misschien door meer feedback te geven aan iedere designer afzonderlijk daardoor eerder nieuwe ideeën ontstaan?

Ja u heeft gelijk. Het is voor ons best moeilijk om aan te geven wat we vinden of willen, tevens omdat de meningen intern ook verschillen. We hopen op die ene Wow. We merken wel dat we stijlvolle logos mooier vinden ondanks dat de fun factor dan ontbreekt. De eigenaar is Italians en die neigt toch meer naar klasse en stijl. We proberen wel op te letten dat het logo wel weergeeft waar we voor staan. We bes effen hoe moeilijk het is
