The park covers an area of more than 34.000 acres, characterized by an impressive diversity of landscapes. The melting of glaciers thousands of years ago and continuous volcanic eruptions have carved this land´s wild geography, including the vast native forest, steep mountain ranges, lakes , lagoons, turquoise rivers, waterfalls, spectacular hot springs and geysers. The ancient forest is home to a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna, many of which are endemic species from Chile.
16 years ago, we started developing an amazing trail network on this land once impenetrable. Today, more than 70 miles of high standard trails provide the visitor with access to breathtaking views of the Patagonian Andes and a variety of natural attractions you could only see in a place that has remained untouched.
Our approach to tourism development is one that rigorously cares environmental protection, supports the local community and creates a profitable sustainable business, offering good jobs, better quality of life and a world-class experience for visitors.
We conceive the park as an exploration playground where the possible activities are countless: hiking, fly fishing, rock climbing, kayaking, biking, horse riding, bird watching, snowshoeing, bathing in natural hot springs and soaking up the local culture are some of them.
Futangue Park presents a unique opportunity, a place with its own identity where natural phenomenons develop and extend in all sectors of the park. The extension and diversity of ecosystems invites visitors to explore, walk and contemplate moving scenery.
We need a logo that contains the name “Parque Futangue” and an image, shape, figure or symbol that represents the park. Parque is the Spanish translation for park and Futangue means great valley, written in the native language of the Huilliches, millenary people from southern Chile.
The typography and the logo should reflect a sense of exploration, purity, adventure and movement; it should make future tourists want to discover this place; it must be attractive as the park itself; it has to communicate the values of nature and balance of a place where time fades away while you are out there exploring, taking pictures, learning or just enjoying life.
We would like to use the logo for all our communications (website, press notes, leaflets, merchandising, etc.)

Whatever choice you make, do not make it too crowded, which makes it unclear!

Upon seeing the logo everyone knows immediately where is what to experience.
Cove in circle = South America
Leaf above the circle = nature

So let me be honest with you;
All the examples you mention have nothing to do with the feeling that a visitor will have.
Therefore, I will no longer participate in this competition.
Use a simple logo. Something recognizable. Tell a good story or make a good account of the environment.
Supports with pictures.
That makes the reader curious, not just the logo!
In this case, only the logo symbolize nature, exactly ... what appeals to you and not what you feel.

yes , is simple, but not cool, not pretty. The examples I mentioned are just ideas, since many were sending really bad logos not because of the concept they have been using, because they were just ugly logos

In the discussion I put some examples I like, and then I proposed something more conceptual, but I don´r really care if it is abstract or not , it just has to be cool, elegant, sober, mature, and attractive. That footprint is not. Maybe you can do a different footprint , or change the idea.

The beauty of the park Chilean Patagonia is difficult to summarize in a simple yet elegant shape.
The feeling that the person has at the time of experience, is difficult to describe in picture form.
It's just too much to melt into one form.
But ... I'm going to try anyway!
