Needs:
We want you to use the vegetable "witlof" in the design. It can be subtle or it can be in our face we dont care.
- The logo has to look good and recognizable without any text/name.
- Don't use the real life pictures, we want it to be abstract.
- We want you to create it with one color or outline, then improve with more colors and shadows. Start simple so we can like/dislike your design
We would like to see a vegetable called "witlof" come forward in the design. "Witlof" is a Dutch vegetable and is called "Endive" in the English language. Two exmaples of the vegetable are added. We don't like it if you use these two pictures directly in to the design.
Company description:
Our holding "Witloft" will support several webshops. Neither the name nor the companies activities has to come forward in the design. So be FREE and CREATIVE!

Beste Witloft,
Wat een grappige naam! Daar kreeg ik wel een (hopelijk!) leuk idee bij. Het beeldmerk is een letterlijke vertaling van de bedrijfsnaam; een combinatie van de witlof en loft. Ik heb de witlof abstract weergegeven. Hierdoor krijgt het een sculpturaal karakter. Zie het als een soort architectuur ontwerp zoals de Swiss Re Tower van Norman Foster in London.
Het aspect loft komt als een erker naar voren. Met herkenbaar dak en raam. Het licht brandt binnen. Misschien een subtiele verwijzing naar vernieuwing en ideeën?
De bedrijfsnaam staat in een cursief lettertype. Door de f en t met elkaar te verbinden, wordt er extra nadruk op de toegevoegde letter gelegd. Je zou immers naar verwachting Witlof lezen en de 't' over het hoofd kunnen zien. Door hier een extra ontwerpaccent aan te brengen, wordt dit hopelijk voorkomen.
De bedrijfsnaam en het beeldmerk kunnen prima los van elkaar gebruikt worden.
Hopelijk sluit het ontwerp aan bij uw wensen en smaak. Aanpassingen zijn altijd bespreekbaar. Ik ben erg benieuwd naar uw reactie!
