We are looking for a logo that symbolizes the first ten years of our organization - an international network representing local and regional authorities on the global scene. The logo will be used throughout 2014 for our publications, correspondence and on our website. The logo can use or corporate colours but also be original and celebratory in terms of design.
The logo should reflect this new stage for the organization and represent achievement, progress, evolution and continuation. They logo can also contain the number 10. Using the date - 2004-2014 - is also possible.
We need to be both stand alone and usable with the a short slogan:
100 years of action, 10 years of unity

Based on the concept with Roman numerals that logo shows a connection between the "X" (10) and the "C" (100 in Roman numerals). This connection also implies unity.

Based on the concept before the intertwining "U"s represent unambiguous a strong unity. A clear concept with subtle meanings and understandable in each language.
