Needs:
Develop a up-to-date logo for this club called Lord Nelson. Recently a new website has been launched (www.lordnelson.nl), however there is not a proper logo for this new website yet.
In the past a cartoony figure has been used as a logo (SEE ATTACHMENT) which we always found really cool. Its is inspired on the real Lord Nelson who was a famous sea admiral. We want to use this logo again but it is too old fashioned at the moment.
Your mission is to make this cartoony figure up-to-date for 2013 again!!
Company description:
Lord Nelson is a modest discotheque in the Netherlands in a small town called Meppel. Every weekend this club is filled with over a 1000 people, dancing to the beats of the DJ's.
Target group:
Targetgroup is young people (students) between 16 and 25 years old.
Colors, favourites and other requirements

Bij deze volgens de feedback een wat neon gevoel en strakkere letters, qua font kunnen we natuurlijk ook alle kanten op (zie P.B.) we zijn weer erg benieuwd wat u er van vind.

Goedemiddag, bij deze ons eerste voorstel voor uw logo, feedback is van harte welkom, we zijn erg benieuwd wat u er van vind. U kunt op het plaatje klikken voor de ware grote en kleurschakering, verder leveren we de bestanden aan in elk denkbaar formaat .jpg .gif .eps .png .psd .pdf en natuurlijk het .ai(adobe illustrator vector formaat) voor al uw uitingen.
We kunnen qua kleurstelling alle kanten op ...

Dag Mark. Hartelijk dank voor je inzending. Dit begint er op te lijken! Mannetje ziet er al stuk strakker en frisser uit. Heel gaaf.
De kleuren van het mannetje zijn op zich goed. Echter die rode ring (om hem heen) zou gaver zijn in een oplichtende blauwe/paarse/groene neonkleur.
Het lettertype vind ik te basic en te ouderwets. De letters zouden wat dikker mogen en wat vrolijker.
Hopelijk kun je wat met deze feedback. Nogmaals dank -
