D'auteur is frans voor 'van de maker' en staat voor designers, authenticiteit en exclusiviteit. Als domeinnaam zou het 'dauteur.nl' worden.

Chez, dat woord kennen jullie vast wel in het frans ;-) Het wordt vaak gebruikt voor het aanduiden van een huis: "Chez moi" of "Chez Albert". Een korte naam waarvan er weinig verwarring zal ontstaan over de uitspraak. En bovendien zijn chez.nl en chez.com nog vrij!
