I want to build an app for young basketball players who participate in a streetball project I organise. Every baller will be registered and get his / her own profile with a picture. Once in a while a scout will come and check out the kids and rate them. Besides a rating, I also want to be able to add icons for a special skill to their profile. Kind of like, or no, exactly like how it's done in the NBA2K game series.
These are the 25 badges I want to get icons for (I admit, it's all copied from NBA2K):
1. Alpha Dog - Steps his game up when his teammates are performing poorly
2. Cool and Collected - A player who remains fairly consistent throughout the course of the game
3. Closer - Steps his game up in the 4th quarter and overtime when the game is close
4. Enforcer - Wreaks havoc on the floor with physical and tough play
5. Mentor - Gets younger players focused in on the game when they commit mistakes
6. Heart and Soul - Rallies team when things are getting out of hand. Helps team stay focused
7. Defensive Anchor - Makes his team better defensively just by being on the floor
8. On Court Coach - A player with this badge calls plays
9. Volume Shooter – Heats up with every shot, make or miss.
10. Deadeye - Not bothered as much by defenders when it comes to making contested shots
11. Limitless Range - Known for knocking down three pointers well beyond the three point line
12. Shot Creator - Known for making tough shots off the dribble after creating space to shoot
13. Tear Dropper - Excels at making floaters and runners
14. Post Technician - Dominates the post offensively
15. Killer Crossover - A ball-handler who excels at breaking his defender down with crossovers
16. One Man Fastbreak - Excels at taking the ball coast to coast on a fastbreak
17. Transition Finisher - Adept at running the fastbreak and finishing at a high rate
18. Pick & Roll Maestro - Known for orchestrating the pick & roll game as the ball-handler
19. Dimer - An elite passer known for hitting teammates in the correct position to score, giving them a boost on their shot %
20. Scrapper - A hustle player who wins loose ball battles

Hallo Erik,
Dank voor je reactie. Nederlands gaat toch wel sneller!
Ik heb de meeste aanpassingen verwekt. Alleen Lockdown en Scrapper vind ik lastig. Ik begrijp je beschrijving en je voorbeeld. Alleen is er een verschil tussen een afbeelding en een icoon van een onderwerp. Is lockdown zo met slot niet duidelijk, je ziet meteen dat het een lock is. Ik kan twee mannetjes tekenen, maar je interpretatie daarvan is niet sneller , lijkt me? Met de scrapper hetzelfde; hij is de speler die het vuile werk opknapt. Hoe beeld je dat uit? Een vuilniszakje? Ik heb nu de tollende basketbal als zijnde een hele behendige speler. Is dat als icoon niet genoeg voor de associatie met scrapper? Lastig! Mocht je daar nog ideen voor hebben, hoor ik het graag!
Ik hoor graag wat je vind! -

Hello ST4R,
hereby my proposal for an icon set. It was quite a lot off work, not so much the drawing, but thinking of the right icons for the actions. The actions ( like pick&roll;) can be a bit strange if you are not familiar with basketball. So I did my best, looking them up and creating icons. I can imagine you would have some changed, maybe some you' ll not find fitting. So please let me know what you think of the style and if there have to be any alterations done!
And I do want to ask you...I know from experience since I have now made an upload, others will most likely do so aswell, copying my designs since its public. I hope you will take that into consideration in the end :).

p.s. I saw the comments about the award. Your price is be 250, Brandsupply keeps 40% fee. As a designer we get 150 and we have to pay taxes over it. That leaves us with 90 euro. That is how the cookie crumbles. -

Hi Jorina, volgens mij ben je Nederlands als ik je profiel zo bekijk :) Ik had je al een invite op LinkedIn gestuurd.
Ontwerpen zijn nice. De stijl past absoluut bij wat ik zoek. De afbeeldingen passen inderdaad nog niet allemaal bij wat het icoontje moet uitstralen.
De icoontjes waarvoor ik een andere afbeelding zou willen zien zijn:
Alpha dog - het lijkt nu een wolf die naar de maan huilt. Bedoeling is dat het een hond is die dominantie uitstraalt.
Defensive - Idee van het schildje en het plusje vind ik top. De geit snap ik niet helemaal.
On court coach - Een coach heeft geen fluitje. Misschien zou je een coaching-board als afbeelding kunnen gebruiken, zoals je bij Pick and Roll hebt gedaan.
Limitless range - Dit icoontje moet iets zeggen over de lange afstand waarvan geschoten wordt. Nu lijkt het meer te zeggen over de kant waar de bal naartoe kan gaan.
Shot creator - Dit icoontje moet iets zeggen over de moeilijkheidsfactor van een schot dat genomen wordt. Voorbeeld: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/HVdgrwLjoSM/maxresdefault.jpg
Tear dropper - een tear drop is bij basketbal een schot van vrij dichtbij de basket die met een vrij grote boog wordt gegooid over de lange mannen heen bij wijze van spreken. Je zou iets met die boog kunnen doen in het icoontje.

One Man Fastbreak - Dit is de zogenaamde egotripper, die vanaf z'n eigen helft tot aan de basket probeert zelf te scoren.
Transition Finisher - Dit is een efficiënte scorer in een overtal situatie (meer aanvallers dan verdedigers). Dit heeft niet zo zeer te maken met vliegen (wat het icoontje nu doet vermoeden) maar in snelle spelsituaties efficient weten te scoren.
Pick and roll - bijna helemaal goed, alleen mist op de afbeelding de pick. Voorbeeld: https://www.breakthroughbasketball.com/fundamentals/graphics/Pick-and-Roll-1.gif
Scrapper - Dit is een persoon die bijvoorbeeld het publiek in zou duiken om een bal binnen te houden. Iemand die er niet vies van is om het harde werk te doen, waar andere spelers misschien niet van houden.
