Needs

I have thought about using my own name (Slob) for my freelance business, but I am well aware that it has got a negative meaning in English. Therefore, I would like a company name that reflects the following qualities: Personable, Expert, Creative, Great Results, High Integrity. I am multilingual and able to work and offer services in English, Portuguese, Dutch and Spanish.\n\nThese are the specialties I can offer:\n\nImplementation of CSR policies, corporate accountability, business ethics, business and human rights, transparency and disclosure, sustainable private sector development, sustainable procurement, development of sustainability standards, value chain analysis, supply chain research.

Company description

I am setting myself up as a freelance adviser and researcher. I am passionate about sustainable business. I work actively with governments, public authorities, civil society organizations and companies to promote and ensure responsible business behaviour. From advising high-level personnel in one-to-one meetings to workshops with staff members of a government department, my message is the same – organizations can be responsible at every stage of their value chain.\n\nI am a regular guest lecturer at universities, business schools and research institutes. It is a great opportunity to develop new ideas, defend my position and learn from other people active in the field. I am most frequently at the University of Geneva, Lund University and VU University Amsterdam, and I have also lectured at Bocconi University, the German Development Institute (DIE), the Complutense University of Madrid and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.\n\nAs part of my commitment to sustainability, I have been actively engaged in developing the ISO 26000 Standard on Social Responsibility, for which I set up and manage a Linkedin Group which now has over 4,500 members (http://linkd.in/ah37AE). I am also a member of the Post Publication Organization (PPO), established by ISO to monitor the use of the ISO 26000 standard.

Target group

Governmental organizations, policymakers, civil society organizations (NGOs and trade union organizations), business associations\n

Sounds good in many languages, although it may sound like sun-sea in English.

Astute (eng); Astuto (french, spanish, portuguese) meaning perceptive. Abbreviate it to Astu and you get a more international name.Astu also being an ancient greek word for city (the inner city of a polis).

Forget this post, I noticed a connotation in Spanish with fraudulent although it can also mean perceptive.

combines savvy and savior.

Thank you Spijs. I guess I am looking for a name that could be said in several languages without having to spell it. C and v are rather problematic letters, especially in Spanish.

Okay I will ponder on this and if somthing comes to mind I will post it. Anyway, good luck with your business.

derrived from the word 'savvy'
Savvyce already exists so I changed the y to i

SpijsSpijs

and now that I look at it again you could look at it as a combination of savvy and service.
